The Rim BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 for ATT is similar to the Curve 3G we reviewed for T-Mobile. It has the full QWERTY keyboard, of course, in addition to the optical trackpad, GPS, dedicated media keys.
RIM BlackBerry Curve is equipped with 2-megapixel camera, microSD/SDHC slot with support for 32GB cards, and 3G support. AT&T will also make the U-Verse Mobile app available if you happen to be a U-Verse TV customer. The U-Verse Mobile app lets you manage your DVR recordings. As with the other Curve 3Gs, the one for AT&T is also BlackBerry OS 6-ready.
MKV video, also wel-known as Matroska video takes lots of advantages on modern codec. And some users would like to rip Blu-ray movie to MKV or convert AVCHD M2TS recordings to MKV to maximally preserve video quality. Although MKV is more and more popular on computer, and even Windows 10 supports playback MKV video natively, you may find the RIM BlackBerry Curve does not recognize MKV files. This is because MKV is just a container format which can contain various codecs, only a small subset of which (e.g. H.264, Xvid) the RIM BlackBerry Curve can play.
