Samsung Note 5: Release Date, Rumors and Specs

Is there anyone who can shed some light on Samsung Note 5 release date, rumors, specs?

As a Samsung supporter, to be honest, it is a bit worrying to see iPhone 6 Plus obtain such huge sales success and encroach on the phablet territory that is dominated by Samsung Note series. Therefore, I strongly hope Samsung releases Note 5 this year to broaden its allure in phablet department, but I have no the slightest idea of Samsung Note 5 release idea, rumors and specs. Can someone tell me about that?

Best Answer:

One of the reasons why iPhone 6/6 Plus gains such a seemingly unstoppable sales momentum is because they eventually cater to the "big screen" mainstream, ditching the small screen tradition, which has been condemned as a big factor leading users to stand by Android camp. As the most successful phablet series, Samsung Note will surely return in its fifth outing this year, and Note 5 undoubtedly is going to flaunt amazing new features and great improvement to keep its dominance. Here are some of the loudest and most credible whispers about the Samsung Note 5 release date, rumors and specs.

Samsung Note 5 Release Date

So far there's no news on when we might see the Galaxy Note 5, but we can take a good guess and say it will be at or around IFA 2015 in September, as that's when Samsung typically unveils its Note phablets.

Samsung Note 5 Rumors and Specs

Within couple of months, lots of rumors have fired the web for Samsung Note 5. Read on to find what they are.

1. It will be built in Snapdragon Qualcomm 82X+ processor with 3.2 GHz/Samsung Exynos 7X (10nm) 8-core (little.Big.Bigger..) with max 3GHz frequency core.

2. Galaxy Note 5 will apparently have either a 2K or 4K Super AMOLED screen.

3. The design may follow suit with Galaxy S6/S6 Edge, featuring the metal and glass-clad design.

4. A dual-edged variant similar with Galaxy S6 Edge is highly possible.

5. The device will reportedly sport a 16-megapixel rear-facing unit with optical image stabilization, in addition to a surprisingly good 8-megapixel front-facing unit.

Though there are still some mysteries (we have no clue on which formats it will supports in terms of playback of media file, so it is better to get prepared with a powerful video converter) surrounding Samsung Note 5, one of the things we are almost certain of is that something rocking is coming in our way soon.
