iPhone 6S vs iPhone 6 Plus: Differences on Features, Colors and More

What are the differences between iPhone 6S and iPhone 6 Plus?

I have been pleased with my iPhone 6 Plus since last December's purchase and never thought about upgrading to its successor even though I could afford one. However, I am thinking about selecting an iPhone for my mum as her 50th birthday present and I still can't decide on going with iPhone 6 Plus or iPhone 6S. So, what are the differences between iPhone 6S and iPhone 6 Plus? Is it worth investing more time to wait for and more money to buy iPhone 6S or the newest iPhone SE?

Best Answer:

iPhone 6S (Plus) has been revealed along with iPad Pro, new iPad Mini, Apple TV 4 and new Apple Watch in September 2015, and the differences between iPhone 6S and iPhone 6 Plus are noticeable, such as 4K video recording and editing ability. Of course, watching 4K movies on iPhone 6S (Plus) won't be a problem. You just need to get a free 4K video downloader for iPhone 6S/Plus to enrich your video library.

iPhone 6S vs iPhone 6 Plus - Major Differences

1. Faster Speeds: iPhone 6S (Plus) comes equipped with an A9 processor paired with 2GB of RAM, delivering a considerable bump in power and speed compared to the iPhone 6.

2. Force Touch: iPhone 6S (Plus) sports Force Touch that had been applied to MacBook and Apple Watch, which will make traditional iPhone displays feel old.

3. Camera Improvements: iPhone 6S (Plus) includes major improvements to both the front and rear cameras. The rear camera is bumped up to 12 megapixels, with the front one to be 5 million. Besides, iPhone 6S (Plus) is able to shoot 4K videos.

4. Rose Gold: This is the first time iPhone is available in pink metal, which is no doubt aiming for attracting a tremendous number of female consumers.
